This year’s KCON takes place Friday (July 26) to Sunday at Crypto.com Arena, L.A. Convention Center and Gilbert Lindsay Plaza in Los Angeles. Unless you’re in the hardcore scene, in which case the bands are different, but the rest is the same. Jump in, break your nose, see someone get stabbed, get spat on by the singer, have a good time. Talk Dirty to Me peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the band’s first chart appearance on the Hot 100.

Regardless, it’s still an awesome song, evenr though I’m no fan of the genre. What it would be like to be a teenager in these times 😢😢 I’m a 90s baby and have always been so jealous of my older sisters, they were teens in the 80s. No politics, no one shoving it down out throats.

Hell, the 80’s hit it with most all genres of music…….I was so fortunate to be late teens and early twenties in the 80’s to really enjoy it to the max. I’m 48 now and just heard this twice this week. Freakin love it when you can tell the band is on cocaine at the video shoot.

This music video is so simple, but still it’s one of the funniest I have seen. They knew how to have fun in this and I Want Action. INI will return to California later this week to hit the stage at KCON LA 2024, the third time the group has participated in this event since their first appearance in 2022.

The music video for “LOUD,” the lead track off “THE FRAME,” has been viewed over 11.8 million times as of July 24 after being released June 17 on the group’s official YouTube channel. It was really fun, but you had to deal with a lot of persecution and watch out for criminalization from stalker police back in the day just for long hair, guitar playing, and music. We had cassette walk-mans with headphones, but we loved to crank up the stereo.

It was the decade of debauchery and decadence and it still surprises me that I made it out alive and more or less in one piece. I have to imagine nobody “directed” it because there is no cohesive theme to it.They just got drunk and shot several passes of the whole song, and then later someone edited different clips from different takes together to make what you see here. I am now 47, and I still sing loud and proud when this song plays. Also, you absolutely know you’re watching a Poison music video when the guitarist crams as many guitars as humanly possible into 1 song. The chorus repeats a few times throughout the song, reaffirming the desire of the singer to hear his lover talk dirty to him. The song also features a guitar solo performed by CC Deville, who is urged by the singer to “talk dirty” to him through his instrument. @@Jedi_Mistress A bunch of idiots taking drugs, getting killed, killing themselves, killing others because of being stupid and irresponsible like drink driving which is what Vince Neil did and he killed the drummer for Hanoi rocks. Stop putting a rose tint on history. Half of these bands have either lost members back in the 80s because of drugs and alcohol or became drug addicts later in life so it’s not all fun and games and it wasn’t that either. Alot of musicians from that time say they regret doing drugs and messing their lives up, and the people who say it was all great and fun are liars that don’t want to admit that they fucked up and were stupid. If you like this song, that’s a good indication that your heart is beating and you are alive!

YouTube released an all-star version of the song, adding celebrities such as Bow Wow, Fifth Harmony and Larry King. Frankly, it’s like most other songs out there. It’s about sex (though this one frankly seems to be more along the lines of nymphomania). The difference between this and most other songs is this song’s awesome hook. When this came out, none of us “true” metalheads would ever admit to liking it, but we all secretly did. Looking back, I would trade 100 of today’s bands (of any genre) for any 80’s-era Poison, RATT or Dokken.
